Blueberry Festival
THINK BLUEBERRIES!!
Fruitland Township derived its unique name mostly from fruit crops which have been harvested in our township since its beginning. Blueberry farms have been a constant fixture in our community for years and years. Hence, Fruitland Township’s Blueberry Festival was born many years ago.
Fruitland Township’s Blueberry Festival is held annually on the last Saturday of July. This community event is held to provide a fun-filled day of recreation for the entire family. Come and enjoy the festival atmosphere, as we have a blueberry pancake breakfast, arts & crafts, stage entertainment, rides and activities for kids, food booths and much more.
Do you love blueberries? We sell fresh blueberries. We sell blueberry baked goods, including pies, breads, cakes and muffins. We have a blueberry pie eating contest. Oh, and back by popular demand is the blueberry spitting contest! We have something for everyone, please join us on SATURDAY, JULY 26, 2008.
